some nuisance(s)... some help!?!

I have a few minor problems w/ my ride.
In order of priority, they are:
- During winter, my turn signal switch/lever-thingie likes to get stuck every time I switch it over to hang a right/left turn. (ie. Once I switch it to make a left turn, it's stuck in that position until I put it back.)
- Also during winter, my Pioneer CDX-PD6 (my pride & joy of my system... the in-dash 6 cd changer ) goes on the fritz when I choose to change a disc. (ie. Once I change a disc, the unit spits it back out and sends out 'Error-23' signals.) To alleviate this pain, I just warm up the car real toasty-like prior to any cd swaps.
I get really pissed over this... because I end up driving longer than should, which is fine... Who doesn't like cruising for a bit!?
- Lastly, my left-most light in the HVAC control isn't fully lit until I "pitik" (Tagalog for "flicking one's finger to lightly strike an object"... except I can do it real hard... like my Dad) it.
I can't believe that I'm actually going to address these after so long...

A suggestion for the CD Player part:

Check your CD's for "fog". On really cold days, my CD's fog up and the player won't read them correctly. To fix it, I just wipe off CD on my seat or put it in front of the defroster.

Yup, for the CD's keep them inside, but it sounds like the lens is "fogging" or frosting up - sounds like all the problems you mentioned have to do with the vehicle being cold. Get a remote start and let the bitch warm up before you take it out :smoka:

try installing a new switch..if that does'nt work then rip apart your steering assembley and clean around the lever n such

i don't even have a system in my ride, but if i did it would involve zero pioneer components!! get used to it

I recently the same problem as you did with the heater control lights. Do a search on heater control and it should come up. I wrote up a procedure that I used when I fixed this on my car. I am much happier now that I don't have to hit my dashboard anymore!
