Can you run 2" lowering springs on stock struts. If you can is it a good idea.

Re: lowering springs
They will wear out VERY quickly. Stockers are not made to handle that type of stress and will wear out, and basically not not do their job after a while. And that "while" may be a couple weeks to a couple months, but they're going to fail.

Re: lowering springs
We've got atleast one good suspension writeup, you should read it. Then you should post in the right subforums.

Re: lowering springs
Lol..2"s on stock...have fun bottoming out your struts and risking F****ng your suspension components up.
I would recommend for the budgeters to go with KYB-GR2's...cheap , reliable.

Re: lowering springs
... yet still stock replacements. If you're going to do it, do it right man. Modding like a cheap ass will only get you cheap ass results that you probably wont be happy with. Save up and get the AGX's or Illuminas.

Re: lowering springs
Anything is better than stock unless it's some made in ebayland type crap with "Zero zone type-r racing" in the name or something.

Re: lowering springs
Are there any differences in the non turbo springs from the FWD turbo ones? Will the NT springs fit in the turbo FWD?

Are they stockers? Or is there a height difference?
