4.6 gtwc oil change

can anyone redirect me to oil change proceedure or review it with me ... how much oil in motor how much in filter how to mark dipstick which is not ment for canton oil pan thanks cv

We have changed the oil and filter in two 4.6 cars at the shop and settled for 8 qts total in both cars...This should put you right where you need to be on the stick....I think the book calls for 9 but unless you are installing a new motor and re-filling after a complete oil cooler and line flush I don't think it needs that much....Also be sure and not put a heavy oil in the 4.6 cars....Gary
