Does anyone know why the online parts stores (ie, napa, advance) don't list a battery for a '02

No tellin, but I found a battery for my '02 Elantra right on the shelf at Advance. Also, if y ou want to vastly extend the life of your battery, there is an additive that you can get at jcwhitney.com called Charge-It, you add it to your battery, it makes it last much longer than expected. Hope this helps.

The 2002 Accent takes the same battery as the 08 Accent. Factory Battery is 500 CCA.
