lt1 stumped

I'm new to forums so please be patient. My son has a 94 Z28. He pulled in the driveway and turned it off. Tried to start it the next day and it would try to start but as soon as the ignition switch returned to the run position it would die. We did get it to crank a few days later and it seems to run fine. I have an actron super scanner and it shoes no codes but the rpm reading is erratic. Could this be an indication of ignition problems? Thanks, Ray

Re: lt1 stumped

Make sure your scanner is OBD I /hybrid compatable. Some early 94's are reg. OBD I.

I would be checking into a VATS (security) problem or a ign. switch based on your description.
