2002 Rendezvous CXL electrical system restarts

My car is possessed. I went to do some shopping yesterday and on my way there my car started to freak out. Everytime I'd step on the brake or hit the gas, the electrical system in the car would restart. The motor would still be running but the radio, HUD, speedomoter, etc would all restart, sometimes just once, sometimes 3 or 4 times in a row. It was really annoying. On the way back the car decided that somebody had tried to steal it so the radio went into lockdown mode and the keyless entry wouldn't work. I drove the whole 20 miles home with only the little speaked in my ZVW to give me some music. It was horrid. The only good thing was that the electrical system was happy and didn't restart once. When I got home I unhooked a cable from the battery and that reset the security system but the restart problem resurfaced.

I've read in some places that GM used some problematic batteries in the Rendezvous and the terminal post can crack causing a loose connection. It definately seems like a loose connection somewhere. Anybody got a good idea where to start? Probably going to take it to the shop tomorrow but I'm not looking forward to that.

I am having the same problem with my 02 now. Did you find out what the problem was? Its like all interior electrical shuts down and restarts.
My high beam indicater flashes on and off also.
