2001 yukon slt suspension

looking for a little help,started having problems about a 2years ago ,usually when the trucks starts the rear shocks adjust when sitting over nite,one day it did not and the slt light on the dash went on,brought it to the dealer and they changed the module,worked o k for a year and same problem,back to the dealer,they said they found a broken wire,which cost 250.00 to fix,no more dealer for me,worked about three months back to the same problem,rough ride ,shocks not adjusting over nite and lite going on,is there something i should be looking for? i checked the fuse,or can i convert this over to regular shocks and by pass the computer,thanks for your help Jeff
