Gauges don't work

ever since i converted my 94 mustang gt to carburated my speedo and my temp gauge don't work... what should i do? just mount some new ones? if so i'll just order the triple gauge side post... or any better suggestions?

94 Mustang GT 5.0L converted to a edelbrock intake manifold and edelbrock carburater, o/r H pipe with flowmaster 40's, 17 in cobra r wheels, msd package including coil and distributer, ford racing vavle covers, steeda short throw shifter, king cobra clutch, T5 3:55 geared transmission, and a non-slip poze rear end!

The speedo should just plug into the tranny and work fine. The water temp guage should have a wire going to a sensor on the intake.
