Question 97 Sunfires DIES AT STOP SIGNS

I have a 97 Sunfire it has 130,000 miles. Everytime I stop at a stop sign it idles down then dies. I think it might be the Idle Air Control Valve but I am not sure. Please someone help me before I buy the wrong part??

Re: 97 Sunfires DIES AT STOP SIGNS

Take it to autozone and have it scanned for any codes. have you had a tune up lately? when was the fuel filter changed last ? you can try cleaning the throttle body and iac port also
