as much as I love McRae, I think undoubtedly Groenholm will tak it with the way he's driving this year.

Sebastien Loeb in the Citroen. He did well on gravel last year and his late charge in Sweden shows that the Xsara should be up to the job, not only on asphalt

doesn't the logo from the rally of turky look kinda like the dakar logo...as in the plate....anyways..Gronholm should win, unless somebody has something up their sleves

Colin McRae doubts that the Xsara will be the pacesetter on the Rally of Turkey, but isn’t ruling out a strong result from his first loose-surface event with Citroen.

The Scot is concerned that rough conditions won’t suit the French machine and that his limited knowledge of the car will add to the handicap, but he also believes that it could be an open contest.

“I’m not overly confident, but in a way, the rougher the conditions, it can suit you, if you use your experience. I’m looking forward to it. I think we can achieve something pretty good,” he said.

I keep hoping to see Richard win a rally, but I think it will be a Gronholm domination again.

Apparently Loeb tested on this rally last season(before it was a WRC event) and didn't do too well....

...the Ford team are confident that the Focus will perform

Amid many 'firsts', the rally also marks a 'last' for Ford Rallye Sport.
The Rally of Turkey will be the final event for the team's frontline
drivers in the current Focus RS World Rally Car. In New Zealand the 2003
Focus RS WRC will make it's debut.

I allmost forgot about the 2003 focus.
Looking forward to see it racing down the tracks.

So far:

Loeb out (ran out of fuel when he got lost on the road between stages )

Solberg out with suspension failure when in the lead

Gronholm lost time with power steering

Martin lost a huge amount of time with the gearbox stuck in 2nd :o Both more than 3 minutes off the leader. Great.
