I need some ecu chip help!
I had a 96 integra gsr but got hit from behind, instead of fixing it i got a great deal on a 97 honda civic hatch. I put the GSr B18C1 in my civic but i think the mechanic screwed me
and didn't put the correct GSR ecu chip back, instead i think he put in a LS vtech chip in my ecu. Is this even possible? I've heard as long as u have a vtech ecu u can put in any chip. If so does anyone know what chip should be in there? 96 GSr p72? is this different from the 92-95 Gsr p72? can i use the p72 from a 95 GSr in my 96 Gsr?

Re: I need some ecu chip help!
You would need the GSR ECU... the 96 should work.... depending if the civic was vtec or not... you may need to wire in vtec and a knock sensor (not sure if OBD2 civics had one)
