shorty antennas
Has anyone purchased a shorty antenna from like ebay or customgrandam.com? They have them from 13" or 14". I wanted to get one since they are pretty cheap but didn't want to lose any reception. The ads say they won't lose any reception but that, I'm sure, isn't always the case. Just curious if they do work all right or if they are just a waste of money.

Re: shorty antennas
The shorty's I'm talking about aren't the bendable ones but I'm sure it would be basically the same. There are 13" rubber ones and 14" aluminum.

Re: shorty antennas
98 GA SE. I have had a short flexable antenna for 7 or 8 years and it works great. I bought it at the local auto parts for less than 10 bucks. By the way I switched to XM 3 years ago.
