Car part

If somebody says they have "83 or 84 elbows" on their car, what does that mean. What are "elbows" and what does the "83 or 84" part mean and what is its purpose?

Re: Car part

I think you should go the person that said this and ask them what it means.
I would have to say it is someone's slang for something.'

Re: Car part

its a form of HP rating. "elbow" is slang for the number of hamsters running in the exercise wheel. IE, 84 elbow's = 21 hamsters

just like crank hp sounds more impressive than at-the-wheel hp. elbow count sounds more impressive than hamster count. Its just a marketing ploy.

Some people are sooooo gullible.

I think european hamsters are smaller than american hamsters. I bet you'd need at LEAST two european hamsters to carry a coconut

Re: Car part

No, the hamsters migrate, and carry the coconuts with them.
The American ones that is, not the European ones, which we all know are to small to carry a coconut on their own.

Re: Car part

what if the fuel changes? for example what if the engine was running on alcohol, nitro, diesel or even an electric car? would you replace hamsters with say gerbils, squirrels, rats, or another animal? also if you were to shock or scare the hamster in some way, would that be turbo or supercharged? and if you give the hamster steroids is that cheating or "building the bottom end"?

holy cow dude, this subject is WAY too complicated to touch on here. I couldn't even form a sentence about those related issues until 4 years into my 12 year degree of hamsterology. Granted, that class was pretty bias towards hamsters...

That why I didn't get into the "elbow conversion" when you sub. a hamster out for another animal. That and I'm no good at math. I've always heard 5 out of 4 people have trouble with fractions.
