I have a 03 gmc sierra ext cab
My driver side control panel on the door will not work, the PW, lock and mirror buttons will not do any thing. I can push the key fob buttons and the only thing it does is unlock the passengers door. I checked all the fuses and relays that i could find. I dont know what else to do...

Thanks for the help every thing seem to be pluged in
so i took every thing apart and tested all the connectors and i do have power to the chip board i called the dealer and he said that it was a common thing for the boards to go out. He also said if you have power on the big orange wire coming to the board but nothing works its bad. They want 168.00 for the switch assembly. is there a cheaper place to get one? I also looked the board over good and didn't notice any burnt spots to be fixed... |

Their prices are good but sometimes with the S&H the cost is over what the dealer is asking. Be good if you had the P/N before you go to the site.

Hope you have a friend that can buy from a GM dealer at wholesale prices. If not try a local Salvage(junk) Yard. If they have a damaged door they will sell the inner parts. Also try ebay. Good luck.

Re: 03 driver side power door lock and window wont work
I use mine so seldom the switches corrode. It's happened a half dozen times. If I operate the switch a couple of dozen times it starts working again. Try that with the key turned on. Maybe some of that switch cleaner spray before you spend the big dollars.
