Fuel Filter Flow Direction
So today after replacing the front pads on my 93 E 2-door, I decided to change my fuel filter since the car had been abruptly stalling for no reason and felt like it was bogging for the past week.
Every thing went rather smooth, I struggled but was able to get the old filter off, but when I went to install the new Nissan OEM filter, I noticed it had no arrow or metal stamping indicating which way it flows. I found that rather annoying. Can someone tell me which side is the inlet and which the outlet on this filter. To make it worse, the old filter also had no arrow either.

Re: Fuel Filter Flow Direction
Bi-directional filter.
this is the type that has no check ball. You can push fuel through it both ways but it still filters. I dont care for that style of filter. I change to another brand that offers the check valve system |

Re: Fuel Filter Flow Direction
Thanks for the reply. I had no idea that filter was bi-directional.
