Ferrari 250 GTO

i got this kit since christmas. It's the Revell Germany kit, 202 pieces that I have enjoyed completely. Alex work and his ’64 GTO were very to inspiring to me. I know i am not even at their level, but I hope that you guys enjoy what I have done until now

Saint job it’s almost done, i still have to give him the gloss cote

chassis it’s ready, im still working on interior details

engine almost ready to sit on the chasis

a fit test, i have to modify the ride height and wheels camber and caster, besides to make the metallic marks of the transparent pieces (BMF)

Regards

Re: Ferrari 250 GTO

Nice work, especially on the paint and engine. Yes, the stance does need some work. Also, it looks like the hood is a little warped, or is it just the photos?

Re: Ferrari 250 GTO

Good try SIR!

but until i have built my gunze & protar 250GTOs, i can't comment on the finish. the overall shape of the car seems not very accurate to me. but your effort can be seen here.

cheers!opcorn:

Re: Ferrari 250 GTO

The shine is fantastic although the paint seems to be a little thick to me!

IIRC, this is a re-release of the Protar kit. As for the accuracy of the body, don't forget that the 1:1s were all hand built, and as a result are all different. Consequently, the kits are all different because they are based on individual cars.
