Cool My Garage Diorama Wip!!

Well Here are the walls and everything roughly. Sorry about the bad quality pics! I did as best as i could to touch them up. But the front part of the garage is going to be the shop part and the back is going to be the actual garage. It is 1:24 scale and is going to have garge doors and everything else you name it! The last pic is negative so you can see the pattern of the outer walls. Any questions just ask!

All the material is getting cut out with just a small X-Acto knife. so you gotta give me credit there. The rough edges you wont even see when i get the siding done on both the inside and the outside of the shop.

P.S. (Top Secret) there will be a working T.V. in the shop area mounted on the wall. Like a plasma Screen I will post pics soon!

Re: My Garage Diorama Wip!!

Looks good so far.

When you cut the foamcore, the best thing to do is use some kind of straight edge, and dont try cutting completely through in one pass. Make several slow passes, and it will make for much cleaner cuts.

Re: My Garage Diorama Wip!!

use a fresh blade.

if you've got a metal edge, a fresh blade should cut in a single pass.

Re: My Garage Diorama Wip!!

I do use a good blade and I dont it in one pass. I need a metal straight edge because my plastic one my X-Acto knife cuts right into. and You wont see the rough edges when I get the brick siding on and stuff thanks for all the comments! I would appriciate more!

I think things are looking good, but it's impossible to actually say with the quality of photos you post.

I implore you, get a better camera, please

Re: My Garage Diorama Wip!!

small tip; if you give the walls some proper thickness, the end result will look better.
