93 nissan pickup

hi, i need to replace an engine in my 93 nissan pick up and i heard an sx would works so long as it doesn't hace twin cam..any information would be greatly appreciated thank you

does your truck have a north/south KA24E? if so then a 89-90 240SX motor should work no problems. it would be possible for you to put in a twin cam (91-98) engine but that requires more stuff than just a longblock.

KA24E = single cam
KA24DE = twin cam

they have different intake manifolds, and probably slightly different wiring harnesses. but it should bolt up and with a little creativity work fine.
