I would definately recommend that you get a CrimeStopper. I have a CrimeStopper 2-way in my car. And it acts like an alarm and and remote car starter. I know that they work awsome and for a long time I have been installing them for just about 3 years.

here check this out

The model that I suggest is the CS-2015FM. It tells you what is going on with your car. That model is the exact same model that I currently have in my car. IT kicks ass

you can take it to a shop that installs steros, alarms, or remote car starters. Most shops usually do all three

Ask around in your area about the BestBuy/Circuit City installs. In some areas, they do sucky installs. In my old car, they put the "brain" right under the steering wheel. I could reach down and easily pull the whole thing out and cut whatever wires I wanted to. Make sure you find a place that'll do it right. 60% of an alarm is the install.

I just got a prestige platinum with ignition kill, keyless entry, and dual stage shock sensor ... seems like a tight alarm

DEI is famous to go out after around 5 months to a year. I do not suggest that you get one. But hey its your car
