Blower Motor Resistor

Where is this part located on a 93 S15 Jimmy Blower Motor Resistor?
I have replaced the heater blower and the high relay on the firewall, but still think this Blower Motor Resistor needs replaced now.
The heater still wont come on till I open the hood and tap the heater replay on the top to get the high on, once warmed up I have full range of heat settings, but when cold you turn to low I wont be able to turn to med-high till I tap the replay again.
Yes I have replaced relay and have thought I had a bad new relay and tried other new ones with same results, thats why I am looking for the Blower Motor Resistor now.

Re: Blower Motor Resistor

It should be flush mounted on the evaporator case.
But if you have to tap relay to get it fired up and you know the relay is good check plugin and wiring on relay.
May be a lose plugin or broken wire.
Good luck

Re: Blower Motor Resistor

MT-2500, Thank You . Glad it wasn't a SNAKE, I would have been dead by now .

So far so good (pulled out old one, didn't see nothing wrong except corroded looking connections and both screw holes were striped out and it was just in there loosely) cleaned terminal connects and inspect coils with nothing seen wrong, wait to see in a cold morning start first before checking wires for cracks etc.
