I have two questions because my wife wants to keep the pin stripe on but I think it looks better without one.
I just replaced my front-passanger side door and fender. They came with no pin stripe. I have seen Aleros without a pin stripe and think it looks better. So my questions are:
Thanks :-) |

Re: Decal... the pin stripe on both sides?
The pin stripe should come off with a little scraping (use some soft plastic object) and some Goo Gone. If it's been on a long time, you might end up with a line in the paint, though, due to the rest of your paint fading.
Any auto painting place should be able to help you find a pinstripe kit, either with paint or vinyl. |

Re: Decal... the pin stripe on both sides?
I was thinking of using Goo Gone. I was going to water it down a bit so it wasn't so powerful. I'll try to find something around the house to scrape it off with. I was able to scrape it off with my fingernail but it would take a while to go around the whole car and my fingers would be very soar.
And it looked like the paint hadn't faded. Now it's a matter of convincing my wife that the car would look better without the pinstripe. ;-) Thanks for the input!
