Transmission filter change Problem &%#&)

Problems from the start. While removing crossmember to get acess to pan, I broke 2 bolts off on passenger side that hold crossmember and the running board. I cannot beleive they broke right off. They are like 17mm bolts. I guess I need to go get new drill bit and easy-outs.

Drag. I do mine without touching those bolts.

Re: Transmission filter change Problem &%#&)

I changed the filter. Installed crossmember, minus 2 bolts on one side. Wonder if the wife will notice the missing running board on passenger side? lol. I am leaving that for a different day.

Take the running boards off....I have a 2" lift on my '97 and my shorter then average 8yr old son can still get in just fine.
