92 2.8 L issues?

I have a 92 S-10 with 178K on it. Runs very strong with no issues. Needed to throw a tune-up on it before i take it cross country. Tuned-up the vehicle last night to include new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter, oil change, and changed the rear end fluid. Upon start-up the idle was rough. Quadruple checked the wires and all the connections. Drove the truck and at speed the truck has a major hick-up. I think it may be a bad rotor or cap from the store but anybody have any ideas?

Welcome to AF.
Spit back and run ruff could be plug wire crossed.
Double or tripple check the firing order and disable one cylinder at a time and see if rpm changes the same on all cylinders.
And check all vacuum lines and hoses and pcv valve.
And check and set base time.
