94 Cutlass ECM?PCM
Would anyone no if ecm/pcm in any way could effect over charging of alternator output vie checked all wires and grounds replaced relayed checked fuses links been doing it out in the yard 4 hours a day at minus 30 degrees for almost 2 weeks. Today I started it run for 20 minutes thought after cleaning all grounds wow it OK, spoke to soon 21 minutes car under RPM drop sound voltage rose to 18 volts plus backed it off ramps that I been under car made sound like pcm under too much load was going to shuts down, I was thinking could this all me coming from ecm/pcm because when voltage goes up transmission in drive car will not move it like you have standard with clutch in when voltage is normal car moves drives normal when I left it tonight would not come of 18 volts battery was almost 14 and half votes ecm/pcm ? Has me notknowing what to do or think anyone have any thought`s on this would be .well think i give Up On This car put another new Battery and Brand New Alternater Tseted And run Fine for 40 Miles The Voltage Went To !7 Plus Volts Must Be Internail short Some Where I Will Never find Time for Good used Or New car Thanks for All you help Great forum
