recall

2001 maxima recall (02v146000 lower control arm defect) the pin at the end of the front suspenision tranverse link(lower control arm)could break where it is mounted to the frame? is this for all models because i just got a 2001 se 20th anniversary edition. has anybody come across this probably or has anybody gone back to the dealer to correct the defect? thanks for the help.

Go to www.alldata.com there's a list of Recalls for your vehicle and it only shows a list.

There's a service through that website where you can get access to all of the TSB's (Technical Service Bulletins) concerning problems and fixes for those problems for a price of 24.95.

I believe that if you join www.maxima.org you can do a search and find where one of the members, I think it's Emax or someone (I forget who) that posted a free listing of some if not all of the TSB's concerning the Max.
