Re: engine swap

Ok...I love these questions! lol. If you have the money, you can make anything happen! is it a direct bolt-up? NO! Is there room? WELL....Maybe...You will have to move everything around, may not have room to put everything. If i were you, would not do it. It can get VERY expencive doing this! Thank-you for your time!

Re: engine swap

the 3.8 will not bolt to the 3.4 transmission( ie 4t40e-4t45e)
FYI the 3.4 is a 60 deg V6 and the 3.8 is a 90 deg v6.

but like in that pic above you can install everything, engine/trans, and it looks like a fun ride.
Those engine mounts look flimsy though....

Re: engine swap

Yeah I just saw that guys GA w/3.8 SC on fleabay, he'll never get that $10k he's asking.
And those front engine mounts, look wimpy to me IMO

Couldnt imagine the wheel torq that thing gets.
My GA SE has crazy wheel torq with this new trany I put together.

Would be a good summer project , piggy backing the PCMs is the trick. Oh and wire splicing.
