A full view Ferrari and monocouque
Hello!
As far as I understand, the monocoque of a Formula 1 car may NOT be part of the bodywork of the car. IE a Formula 1 car, first has the monocoque, and on top of that, has the bodywork. Is this correct ? The reason that I ask, is because the Tamiya Full view kits, do not contain any separate monocoque, only the bodywork. Is this an error ? |

Re: A full view Ferrari and monocouque
Ah, I see. So the monocoque is part of the bodywork.
The reason that I ask was that I, having the kit, had thought about painting the monocoque, and leaving everything else transparent. However, just now I see that I cant do that (The bottom and side pods are not transparent..) So I guess, ill build the kit as par instructions, with the exception of covering all the non transparent parts with carbon fiber decals, leaving the car "unpainted" |
