Re: Help Installing Type R Lips front and rear
Hey, ur gonna need 3M double sided tape and some kind of nonpolar liquid such as: alcohol etc.. Wipe down the area on the car that will come in contact with the lips, also wipe down the inside of the lip that will make contact with the car (with alcohol). Apply the double sided tape (quite thick tape) to the inside of the lip and then carefully align it in place and push it on. Take the screws and then put on the screws, u might have to turn the front wheels in order to screw them in in the wheel well area. P.S. make sure u buy the good double sided tape, i think the 3M holds like 10-15 pounds or something which more than enough for the lips. I did mine like this and its been on there for lke 3 years now in Canadian weather eh! lol!
Have fun and enjoy. |
