Battery light flashes off and on

I've got a 1994 Sunbird that the battery light flashes off and on. Someone told me this is the voltage regulator in the alternator. Could this be a battery problem??? Any help appreciated.

Re: Battery light flashes off and on

Will only know with a voltage check --- 13.4-14.5 is okay... any less or more and you have a problem.... 12.5 is battery voltage, as a reference point.... most auto parts stores can check this for you at no charge.
