Re: fuel pump

Pull out the back seat and there should be a plate with a few screws in it. Remove that and you will be able to get to the fuel pump.

That is how its setup on a 2g, but a 1g should at least be similar.

Re: fuel pump

You access a 1g fuel pump via the hatch floor. It comes out and there is a plate you remove in the bottom. Once you remove the plate, there will be a round piece on top of the tank that is bolted down. Remove it and lift straight up and the entire fuel pump/sending unit assembly will come with it.

Re: fuel pump

I know o my nissan i could get to it thru the back seat, but man it was a bear to pull off. The pump had to slide into place into a bracket, that thing had to go in perfectly. Took me a good 2 hrs lol.
