98 T&C Transmission Code advice
We were driving our T&C on the free way. Tapped the brakes to see if the roads were ice and the engine reved up. It was as if the engine was not connected to the transmission. Long story short it went into limp home mode. OBD codes are as follows:
P1765 Switched Battery Failure P1732 UD Pressure Switch Circuit P1727 4C Hydraulic Pressure Switch CKT LR Clutch 51 OD Clutch 89 24 Clutch 53 UD Clutch 59 Any suggestions? Can you tell me what these mean? Any help greatly appreciated! |

Re: 98 T&C Transmission Code advice
I have tried different relays, but didn't change anything. If the weather warms up I may start to try to go through the wiring. Thanks for your thoughts!

P1765- ChryslerTransmission 12 volt supply relay control circuitP1732- ChryslerUD Pressure Switch CheckP1727- Chrysler4C Hydraulic Pressure Switch Circuit
I have tried to find definitions for these, mainly 1732 and 1727 but no luck, will probably call dealer tomorrow and ask. I am wondering if 1765 may have set 1732, and 1727, off being it is a 12 volt circuit error. |

Re: 98 T&C Transmission Code advice
I checked the continuity between the wiring harness plug at the transmission and the plug at the TCM. Every thing checked out ok. It has 196000 miles on it. So I am ready to give up on it. My wife loves this van and is begging me to go ahead and put a transmission and a engine in it. Oh the things we do for love. Maybe when spring comes I will tackle it.
