Lightbulb 2000 plymouth neon

hey i just bought a 2000 plymouth neon w/ a atx i wanna mod this thing but dont know where i should start. ( would like to do a srt swap but that is out of the question bc of the inspection laws in ny) other then a turbo which i dont know if it would be good with a atx what else should i do!! thanks

What inspection laws would keep you from putting another engine in your car?

with the emitions i cant swap out the engines. or at least that is what the dealership told me. even if i put all the srt stuff in it when they scan the vin an hook it to the computer it wont pass. so they say!... .. my dad is the one that found this car for me an said it was a good car but lil did i know it had 140k miles on it so im prolly not going to do anything to it ? unless u have any ideas what i should do? thanks for the site too!
