Engine Swap

Hello all. I'm new to cars and and am looking for some advice and assistance. I have an 89 Honda Civic LX. People that I'm working with are telling me if I'm planning to mod my car an engine swap is a good place to start. But none of them can seem to point me in the direction to get things rolling. Is an engine swap a good idea? Is it expensive? How do I go about doing it? Thanks in advance to any who can help me.

Re: Engine Swap

It really all depends on the engine you plan to swap into the car, a quick search on this forum or even google will yield many many results as to the options available to you.

Re: Engine Swap

Or check the FAQ. Goes over a lot of your swap options in there.
