www.gmpartsdirect.com I think the part number is 22639556. But double check in the catalog. Seems pretty expensive, then again when is OEM not?

Re: licence plate filler on front bumper

Probably a dealer option like the trunk cargo net, or cig lighter that some people just didn't feel the need to spend the extra 10 bucks to get. Silly yet understandable when youre living in an area that requires front plates.

Re: licence plate filler on front bumper

They went with the cars to the states w/o front license plates, ( i.e flordia, Georgia, etc.) My PT cruiser came with a front license plate mounting bracket but still has yet to make it on my car. It was purchased in Florida by my grandparents. It will never go on it since i despise front license plates even tho NY has em.

Re: licence plate filler on front bumper

that makes sense then cause in ontario you need a front plate and in quebec you don't and my car is from quebec so it was with my car, they really make the front look alot better

Re: licence plate filler on front bumper

well i live in ohio and i think they are required here but no one seems to care and about 1/4 of the cars around here dont have them in front. i guess i will keep my front plate on cuz i dont want to spend $50 for the filler thing and more to get it painted.

Wink Re: licence plate filler on front bumper

Two things- Why in the hell do we need front lic. plates(I live in Ont. Can.) For instance, if your pullin illeagel shit(not that I do )and a cop passes you or anybody for that matter, its a little difficult to see whats on the plate at relative speeds. I dont think they are tryin there damndest to read the front plate in any given situation.
2- I personally think it takes away from the look of the car. I had a 96 Integra and I modified the front stock bumper(no add ons just shear hard labour) and when I was done I decided to leave the plate off because it took away from the look. Even despite the warnings and tickets I still left it off.

Thxs 4 lettin my get that off my chest!!
