Help removing PS hose?

Hello I need help removing the power steering hose that connects to the rack. I had the pressure hose done before but I really don't want to pay to have someone reove this other one. It's the return hose that screws into the rack. What is the easiest way to get to it? It looks tight from the bottom of the car. Would it be easier to remove the brake booster o another way? Please help I need the car. Thanks.

hello,what year/engine is the car.on my 98/2.4 looks to be either from the top or through wheel well

I've done a couple of them... seems to me they were both V6s, but I'm not sure. I used a crowsfoot socket on a u-joint on a long extension and did it from below. The hardest part was installing the new line without bending it too much.

Yeah both lines on the rack are a PITA !

Best done from below, kinda blind work here just gotta feel around. A crows foot will work but realy sucks when they slip off.

I use a line wrench that I modified for those tight spots.
Gloves help keep your knuckles from being ripped up.

well it took me a few hours but i got the damn thing off haha. i took off the left front wheel and turned the steering wheel right. then i reached up from the bottom near he frame and took out the pressure line. then i reached in further and took off the return line. puttin the new return hose WAS NOT easy at all. it was brand new and hard to bend the rubber parts and i finally got it up into that little space. it took me almost half an hour to start the thread then about another half hour to screw it in and tighten it. the presure line was easier to do though cause its kind of more open. oh yeah and i reached my arm through the left wheel well to secure the thread in place while i screwed it in. well at least i didnt strip the threads or anything and its not leaking. thank god now i wont have to worry about that for a long time now. thanks for the suggestions.
