96 Ram 1500 5.2 A/T
I drained coolant, flushed the system. Added coolant and water, Started engine, when it reached normal temp, engine shuts off.. Water temp cools down, Engine starts until normal temp is reached...Shuts down again. Flash Code 11 - (No distributor signal detected during engine cranking. Check the curcuit between the distributor and trhe PCM.) Could this be the Cam Sensor in the distributor all of a sudden going bad? ....Help!!!! Any suggestions? "Big Daddy"

Re: 96 Ram 1500 Cuts off when it reahes normal temp
Amazing how a technical problem can ocure when when you're just doing routine maintnance.
Cam Sensor in distributor went out. Things like this try you when what you were doing to sart off with had nothing to do with the technical problem. "I'm Big Daddy NC" |
