OBD2 Code p0441 on my Ram 1500

I have a 2003 Ram 1500 with the Hemi with 69000 miles. I got a check engine light that lead me to find the OBD2 code P0441 (Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow). Does anyone know what it is going to take to fix this problem.

1) fill up recently? tighten gas cap

2) check for loose vacuum hoses, esp near any area you have recently serviced - namely from intake manifold to purge valve to the other hose leading to evap canister.

3) otherwise, i think evap purge valve ... usu black plastic cylinder about 1.5-2.0" ... will have 2 vacuum hoses attached and a electrical pigtail. barely looked under the hood on my ram since I bought it, don't know where it's located - probably near the manifold since it will have a vacuum hose running directly to it.

Don't just blindly replace it... check it before replacing, very easy to test. remove the purge valve, keeping the vacuum hose going to the manifold attached, suck and blow thru the hose, while alternately applying voltage () to the electrical connector. Should be blocked with no voltage, and with voltage applied air should run thru it. If valve passes test.. that's not the problem.
