starting problems
ok i have this 1980 3.8 cutlass. I replaced the timing cover gasket and the oil pan gasket. I put everything back on and I crank and crank and crank. nothing. the timing should not be off because I didn't touch the timing chain or the dizzy. The wires are all in the right place and so are the wires that connect to the dizzy. It just wont start does any one have any ideas.

Re: starting problems
Didnt we go over this before in your earlier posts ??
Is it getting spark ? Is it getting fuel ?? If its not getting spark then start looking at the distributer and wiring going under the cap. I think I explained this all in your other post. Could be the Cap, rotor, ignition coil..... The timing is 15deg BTDC.
