Does anyone know the difference between Gunze Mr. White Surfacer and Mr. White Base?

Re: Mr. White Surfacer vs. Mr. White Base
Mr Surfacer White is a white primer- just like Mr Surfacer Grey, only a bit harder to see.
I believe Mr White Base is just what it claims- a white base for spraying over whatever you've used for primer, for use under bright colors requiring a white base. Obviously if you've used white primer, you don't need white base.

Thanks. I think I'll give Mr. White base a try. Odd terminology though.

Re: Mr. White Surfacer vs. Mr. White Base
White Surfacer is a kind of primer, and what it does is fill scratches and hide underlying color etc. Base White is a kind of opaque paint which is ideal for the base coat of lighter body color, and it also has a certain degree of priming effect, but not as much as the White Surfacer.
