Red face Re: No Heat 97 Park Ave

I have the same problem with my 95 PA ultra, no heat electronic climate control starts blowing before engine is warm and is blowing cold air. After the engine warms still no hot air. Just replaced water pump, still blowing before heats up and blowing no heat at all times. Fan used to start after the engine warmed up, now they blow cold air as soon as I turn it on. Any suggestions?

Do you have a flashing light on you ACC control when you turn the key on? If so, you have a fault in the system. It could just be out of calibration, or the actuator is not moving the blend door. Take the glove box out and watch the actuator to see if the rod connected to the blend door is moving. Here is what you will see looking at it. (less actuator)

Re: No Heat 97 Park Ave

When the car is running I can hear something opening and closing.
I assume what I am hearing is the actuator opening and closing.
I do not know why it would be opening and closing???
I hear it opening and closing if the heat or cool is on or off.

If you do not answer our questions, we can not help you! Your system must be in the default mode and evidently, you have a flashing light on the digital display. If so, the system will need recalibration.
