Question Can't locate spark plugs

Hey guys. I have a 2003 2.0L 4Cyl Tracker and I'm having some difficulty locating my spark plugs. On top of the engine are 4 rectangular covers do not look like traditional spark plug boots, and on the side are 4 more, but they have a bolted rail connected to them.

I'm thinking that the 4 on the side are the fuel injectors, since they are so hard to get to, but I wanted to be sure before I start unplugging things. Does anyone have a diagram or know which is which? Thanks.

Cool Re: Can't locate spark plugs

Those four covers on top of your engine are the ignition coils, and your spark plugs are underneath, but you'll need an extension at least 8 inches. The plugs are down in there. Good luck.

Re: Can't locate spark plugs

Be careful with the boots, under the coil packs, that go down over the plugs. They are hard to get off, easy to damage, and $20 each to replace.
