Stalling CG
had the E22 recall done and my GC stalls at highway, idle and rolling to a stop. Check engine light ALWAYS on. Dealer claims they did not create problem. Two independent facilities verify code for bad PCM. Any others out there? Any help?

Re: Stalling CG
Since this is a GRAND Cherokee, you should ask in the GRAND Cherokee forum. You are likely to get a better response there.
Good luck!

Re: Stalling CG
Easy there, Saudade. As we all know, it's a common error for GC stuff to be here, and sometimes the reverse is true. Let's not discourage new members!
ironbill, Welcome to AF. I don't have the answer to your question, but I'm moving your thread to the Grand Cherokee section.

Re: Stalling CG
If you think flashing the PCM caused it to fail, all you can do is complain to Chrysler and the dealership.
There is no way I know of to correlate a PCM flash to a PCM failure. I would check the codes yourself using the ignition On/Off or a DRB tool and look up the code/s before you pony up for a new PCM. |
