NISSAN Gran Turismo LM Race Car!!!!!

Ok I know some of you my be thinking this car should not be here. All I can say is it is classified as a race car.
Well any way the kit I started out using it's an Aoshima NISMO GT-R. That I painted Gl white for the base cot. Then I masked it for the Orange stripe and made some stencils for the logos on the Roof and trunk. Here's what I have so far. Oh and I do plan to put a race styled engine in it as well as race styled intertior.

Ya I know un like a lot of you I should have do all this in photo shop but i like to do stuff Free handed, and some time's I like to see if I still can. Some time doint things the EZ way make's doing a model like a job not fun at all.
Ok here she is with the first orange border on. What you think.


I need to go bak an re-do the hood it didn't come out all that well.




Next I will start on the Black bottom. You know I think I my go an put on some white just before I put on the black and put on a stencil of the Gran Turismo Logo, I'm still thinking on that. And for all you guys that say I should do all the logo's on my Photo shop I dont have a Laser printer for all the white logos: But for the black logo's I will do them on my photo shop Ka.

Hay Spike it's classified as a race car. Once I get this one done, I will be doing the Pace car version after this. An On the Pace car it will have the light bar.

Wow, superb and super-interesting build. I have cursed that car many times in the game, great model in the making, I think you're on a great roll! PS. try to put the correct rims on it... would be even cooler..

I do believe that this was a safety car, though on all of the Gran Turismo games there was no damage modelling so you never saw it in action. I think it did appear on some of the license tests.

Man what's up with you guys? I said the the wheels you se here will not be on the car once it's done, I'm just using these for this shot! Ok You Win the car's two times in the game. You can driver both car's in the game. The Pace car is not as powerful as Race version.

For the all gold I came close to time thin gave up and used the gameshark. Now I have both, but I like the race car more. But it is cool the chase my friends around the track with the pace car like the an HP. (Love those Lights)
As I said I will be building both cars your just going to have to wate till I get this one done first.
But if any of you are willing to build the pace car I will give you the places on where you can get some of the decals with out having to make all of them.
Like the Rays wheels logo on the rear bumper and the Bridgestone tires logo on the frount and rear. but that would be up to one of you. As for me I'm going on with this build.

Oh my bad I didn't tell you all about the wheel, I was thinking I did sorry!!!! I put that info on a deff. site sorry again.

Gameshark. Hahaha, I got all Gold in Licenses B, A, IB, and IA. Its super hard to get all gold in Super. That last course, Nurburgring man, it really makes you nervous for the whole 6 minutes.

YOu think the masking job was good try to do the game logo. (That Was tough) see here!!!
First I wanted to try free handing it but I did some thing diffrenet.



Yes I mad stencils of the game logo over a copy from the game disc.
I then masked off the body and painted a white line for the letters.



I then put on the stenciled letters and they did not go on ez.(I had to keep moving them)




Yes I have tuched up the mini places.

I'm working on the big silver GT logos now! later DuDs & DuD-ets

I hate that HOC masking clear masking tape. It keeps coming up from the subject, I have to stop and push it back down. (Note to self use Clear MT for real car painting).

As for the wheels the Aoshima wheels look good but the Tamiya wheels lokk closer to the real ones. so I'm goint to mold the tamiya wheels for this build and otheres.
In the image the Aoshima wheels are on the Left (Painted) and the Tamiya are on the right (Un-painted)


I cut out the under side of the RB26 so I can (once I get the body done) drop in a resin motor.
