Stalling again!!!

Ok so now new alternator in but all a sudden today my car stalled like 5 times when in gear at a stop. Runs fine when moving but slowing down and stopping so does the car engine. I'm starting to notice it does it on cold days. Today was 2 degrees and wind chills 25 below zero. Could that have to do with the stalling even when the car is warmed up already? AT idle in park it ran for like an hour fine but in gear slowing down or at a stop it died like 5 times today. thank you.

Re: Stalling again!!!

Is it a standard? When your coming to a stop either have the clutch pushed in, or slap the car in neutral at the red light. Never know :P

Re: Stalling again!!!

Have you cleaned the throttle body and IAC lately? Checked for vacuum leaks? I'd do it in that order.

Re: Stalling again!!!

Well I took the car in and yes you were right lol The throttle body was gummed up bad. Which would also explain why my gas peddle was sticking and freezing when it got cold out. They cleaned it, changed the plug wires and fuel filter, air cleaner assembly, air filter which I asked them to. I could have done it but in this weather I payed instead. The shaking was caused by 2 front tires were bad. Now the accelerator is great like a new car again. It's easy to push again lol. The shaking is gone and lets say the car feels as smooth as a new car again. The codes ran for my abs is right rear sensor and no way Im paying that yet like 300 dollars for the sensor alone. The check engine light they found that the wires were ripped from the pigtail for the evap system so Ill fix that this spring. Lights been on for 6 years anyways whats another 2 months. So anyways yes it was the throttle body was very dirty. Thank you for the help again everyone.

I still dont know whats wrong with my rear defrost though. Is it possable that one of the wires in the pigtail that were cut that one could be that for the defrost? There were 2 wires cut.
