How many O2 sensors?

97' Corolla 1.8Ltr. How many o2 sensors are on this car? Thanks.

There are 2 sensors. One before the converter and one after. The one before is usually in the exhaust manifold, and the second is usually close to the converter.

Thanks. Isn't one upstream and the other a downstream?

The one in the header is the upstream and the one down by the converter is the downstream one
