Exclamation 2003 Olds not getting feul.

fuel pump is not humming when switch is turned on,no pressure on fuel rail.what are the possable causes. beside it being the fuel pump.how about the relay in the fuse compartment under the hood. it will try to start, but it will not turn over.

If there is another relay of the same part number, you could swap relays and see what happens.

There are several micro relays that match by part number in the engine compartment fuse box. The fuel pump relay should be marked 18. Swap it out with the horn relay 21. Also, be sure to check fuses. #48 in particular.

If that is good fuel pump is possible but check the wiring to it back around the gas tank since much like the electrical connector is exposed to the elements. Measure for 12 volts at ignition to ON/ fuel pump prime.
