1989 thunderbird lx 3.8 to 460 swap.

has anybody done a 3.8 v6 to 460 v8 swap? if so how hard was it to do and what will i need. i have the motor, but will it bolt up to the aod?

Your going to have to do alot of custom fab work a 460 wont fit between the struttowers on the 89 and newer. So to make it work you going to have to cut out all the front suspension and add a clip from like a ltd or something along those lines. A 351w is a tight fit in these engine bays you cant get a 460 in there at all without major mods and no they dont bolt up to an aod or the crappy 4r70e trans in the newer tbirds either.
