Re: 2000 dodge caravan exhaust problem

On the first read I wanted to say "it's made of metal, what do you expect?" Do you have any more details?

I spose it could be overheating, especially the catalytic converter. At night, run the van for 15/20 minutes then look under the hood and under the van for anything glowing. Could be running excessively lean or the catalytic converter could be clogging up.
