Metro 3 speed automatic transmision

After owning my 2000 Cevy Metro 1.3L for some time I enjoyed the toughness of it but the .......crapy automatic transmision....is baddd at highway speed ....65-70Mph, I understand that the gearing is for moderate speeds and only 3 speed but the noise at 70Mph gets to you when you are driving for an hour or more.
The automatic shifter has a small cutout like there was intented to be installed an overdrive button, like many japanese cars have, maby they were intended to have 4 speeds.
My question is there any Chevy or Geo or Suzuki with a 4 speed transmission? which fits our cars?
