91 Civic Hatchback...Distributor
Can you guys PLEASE help me out here...
Got the replacement dist. for my 91 hatchback 1.5 motor... How do I replace it myself? thanks

its three bolts and three pluggs just mark the old dist and set the new one to the mark and your done put new cap and rotor though

Fairly simple: Mark on a piece of paper or somewhere the arrangement of the spark plug wires on the cap(writing on the cap works
). Remove spark plug wires. Disconnect the 2(IIRC) electrical plugs. Remove the 3 12mm bolts holding the distributor to the head. Remove distributor.Your done. Check your cap and rotor and see what condition they are in before you go and replace them. If they look really corroded or chipped up or anything, go ahead and replace them, if not, leave them alone. It takes a little while for new caps and rotors to break in and until then, your not getting the best gas mileage you can out of them
